COMME des GARÇONS HOMME and New Balance release their collaborative 1890A on November 6, following the shoe's debut at Paris Men's Fashion Week in January. The partnership offers two colorways, Black/Charcoal and Beige/Orange.

The 1890A reworks New Balance's 1890 runner with design choices aligned to COMME des GARÇONS HOMME's tailored aesthetic. An apron upper wraps the forefoot in a single, clean section that echoes moc-toe styling. This construction tames the busier visual language of the original model and produces a sleeker profile suited to both workwear-leaning pieces and everyday wear.

New Balance engineered the midsole with ABZORB shock absorption and added heel structure for stability. The shoe shifts the base 1890 model away from pure technical focus toward everyday versatility.

The collaboration releases at COMME des GARÇONS retailers.
