The dress featured a rounded neckline, long sleeves, and a draped floor-length skirt. She paired it with pointy black pumps, a black tassel shoulder bag, diamond hoop earrings, and burgundy lipstick.
Holmes arrived hand-in-hand with Jason Bard Yarmosky, a visual artist. He wore a navy double-breasted blazer with a black T-shirt and brown leather loafers.
The couple began dating earlier this year and have attended multiple public events together in recent months. Last night's gala honored Cynthia Erivo, the Wicked star, "for her remarkable contributions to the performing arts and her extraordinary capacity to inspire through multidisciplinary storytelling," according to ABT. Erivo wore a sculptural Erdem gown with floral details.
Other attendees included Nicky Hilton, Lake Bell, Ben Platt, and American ballerina Misty Copeland.
