Jordan Brand's Black Pack expands in November with two new releases: the Air Jordan 15 Retro SP and Air Jordan 17 Retro Low SP, arriving Nov. 7.
The Air Jordan 15 Retro SP combines black nubuck with snakeskin-textured overlays on the lateral and medial sides. A gray midsole and the shoe's signature rubber ribbed heel counter remain intact. The release features a redesigned inner bootie that removes the original protruding tongue for a sleeker look, a feature first seen on June's Air Jordan 15-23RE.
The Black Pack as a whole includes four models: the Air Jordan 14 Retro Low SP, Air Jordan 15 Retro SP, Air Jordan 16 Retro SP, and Air Jordan 17 Retro Low SP. Each shoe pairs premium black leathers and nubucks with exotic-inspired accents. The Air Jordan 17 Retro Low SP arrived in early October, with the Air Jordan 15 and its counterpart launching in November.
Designer Tinker Hatfield originally created the Air Jordan 15 in 1999 and has called it his "worst" Air Jordan design. The sneaker has experienced a recent renaissance.
The Air Jordan 15 Retro SP Black Pack launches at select Jordan Brand retailers and on 232323232323.com for $240. The style code is IZ2585-001 in Black/Off Noir. Limited-edition availability has frustrated some fans, though the pack has received praise from many.
