McDonald's launches a Pokémon Happy Meal on November 10 in the US, pairing 15 collectible toys with 15 trading cards. The toys take the form of miniature Happy Meal boxes featuring different Pokémon, each converting into a bag charm. Confirmed characters include Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Squirtle and Umbreon, with leaked cards pointing to Jirachi, Absol and Metagross in the lineup.

The packaging includes a QR code that opens an interactive digital game where players hunt for all 15 Pokémon toys across a virtual classroom and playground. McDonald's executive Guillaume Huin revealed the toys can clip onto keys and bags.

The promotion rolls out internationally starting in November across Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, Spain and other markets. December brings it to over 40 additional countries including Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Latin America, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand and the Philippines receive the collection in January 2027, with Ireland and the United Kingdom following in February 2027. Exact dates for markets outside the US have not been announced.
